Aave: Drops 50 Assets Across Six Networks

Aave is ending support for 50 low-liquidity assets across Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, and Aptos.

The assets in question represent roughly $100M in total value.

The reason for the shutdown is that the assets generate too little revenue to justify the maintenance costs.
