MASA posted an announcement on X stating that Gopher will be closed. Prior milestones: the project released tokenomics in November with 30% allocated to Community, ran a testnet (with reward mentions in a linked article), and executed a Galxe-linked campaign. The team also showcased an AI trading terminal built on Hyperliquid.

In January the team postponed the planned TGE. The message author reports they publicly skipped the sale earlier and advised others not to participate. The closure announcement follows those earlier shifts in timing and focus.
