Robinhood Chain: Early meme activity

Robinhood Chain has quickly built strong activity and speculative attention in its first week.

Although the ecosystem focus includes tokenized stocks and other RWA use cases, the main driver so far has been the meme coin CASHCAT, which the author says grew from a very small early valuation to around $200M.

The post also notes that Robinhood’s Uniswap network trading volume has exceeded $1B, and that Robinhood’s CEO publicly acknowledged the network may work well for memecoins.

The author says Robinhood could become a major competitor if it brings onchain trading to its 27M+ users, and compares the chain’s early path to Base, expecting ecosystem development before any token launch.
