Ping Network is a decentralized bandwidth infrastructure (DePIN) built on Solana that lets individuals and businesses share unused internet bandwidth via a VPN app, browser extension, and node software. Contributors earn on-chain rewards called Ping Points which are planned to convert to $PING at a future token generation event. The protocol provides services such as VPN routing, data scraping, content delivery (CDN) and uptime monitoring, and uses an on-chain Node Coordination Network (NCN) and validator layer for proofs and payouts. Ping targets both enterprise customers and consumer contributors who want to monetize spare bandwidth.
