Towns: Founders Step Away

Towns founders announced that they are stepping away from the project.

Control of the protocol has been transferred to the Towns Foundation in Switzerland.

Ben and Pat will move on to other projects, but will temporarily help with the transition.

They said they were unable to build a sustainable business around the protocol, despite the product's growth.

The Foundation's new team will continue developing Towns, including its focus on decentralized communications and AI.
